Description

Eurycoma longifolia (EL), a well-recognised Malaysian medicinal herb, has gained considerable interest among the researchers due to its ability to protect against bone calcium loss in androgen-deficient osteoporosis. Though numerous animal studies have been conducted, the exact mechanism is still debatable. The present study aimed to investigate the in vitro basis of the bone protective effects of EL using mouse pre-osteoblast cell line (MC3T3-E1)
